It’s Elaine here. I hope you’ve had a great start to 2025.

My dear friend, Carolyn, needs our help to continue her cancer treatment.

Carolyn and I met during very odd circumstances - while we were laying in hospital beds beside each other awaiting port surgery (a device that is placed under the skin of your chest and connected to your heart. The port is accessed to administer chemotherapy).

She was my guardian angel that day. She consoled me as the surgeon struggled to find my vein. She used her strength for me rather than focusing on what lay ahead for her. I’ll never forget that day. We obviously bonded immediately and have been friends since.

Carolyn’s cancer is rare and aggressive. She requires a bunch of expensive treatments to rid her body of tumors and needs our help to continue being the wonderful mother of two young children and fabulous wife.

She has devoted her life to helping people in need and we have an opportunity to do the same for her.

We’re all feeling the financial pinch at the moment so whatever you can spare would be amazing - even if it’s a couple of dollars.
