Carol’s Dream to Help Swazi Youth Through STEM In Africa

Tax deductible
My name is Carol Benjamin and I lived in Swaziland, Africa (now ESwatini) for 7 years. Part of my heart remained with the disadvantaged youth there. I serve as the Program Director of STEM Programs with BIBHE (Building International Bridges to Higher Education).

There is a STEM education program in ESwatini which is run by a national with almost no outside funding. It is a FIRST FTC robotics club that has been successful in international competitions!

They desperately need 4 new robotic controllers. My husband Jack and I are planning to lead a missions trip to ESwatini in early Feb. Would you help us by donating part of the $1500 needed for the 4 controllers? This would enable these very rural high school students to gain STEM education and hopefully compete internationally again this year.

This training gives the students experience with technology. Many STEM club graduates are seeking tech jobs after high school. It can be their ticket out of poverty.

Please join us as we offer these students a hand up, not a handout. Blessings to you!
