This is strong, beautiful Carol - Carol Marian Gritzmacher.
Her world just turned upside down.
She started radiation yesterday, and will have it every weekday for 6-weeks. Today chemotherapy was added, it will continue every Tuesday.
Its been barely a week since Carol was diagnosed with Stage 3B Cervical Cancer, an aggressive form that is inoperable at this time.
It doesn't seem real, and it can't be true - she's the best Mom, so physically fit, and health conscience - but cancer is just cruel.
Carol is a GREAT Mother. Her boys come first in everything she does <3
She was working 2 jobs to raise her two young men (ages 13 & 16) on her own.
Now she cannot work and has the the worry of not only everyday living expenses but the medical bills that will follow treatment - and the unknown of when she may be able to work again.
She's a very dear friend. If you've ever met her, you'd say the same thing!
Her friends and family are rallying behind her, and we are asking if you can help in way, please do.
She needs help, and she needs it now.
Any donation is so appreciated as we try to ensure her boys are taken care of with healthy meals, that their housing and utilities get paid, that there is money for gas to SLC 5 days a week, and then for the medical bills that will start coming in -anything to help keep the financial stress at bay for a little while!
Getting treatment and rest are what Carol needs to focus on right now.
She needs her physical and mental strength to beat this beast we call cancer!
