As some of you may know, my daughter (or stepdaughter), Caroline, has been battling some major health issues for the past 6-7 months. She has been in and out of work since the end of March, and as the primary breadwinner, her family’s finances have suffered dramatically.

After facing 4 hip surgeries, multiple dislocations, a major infection, and now a massive DVT, she still has a long road and many months ahead before she’s fully able to recover and get to back to work full time. She will be facing at least 2 more surgeries within the next few months, as well as a possible 3rd surgery to treat the DVT.

Her family has helped as much as possible in many ways, but if you have the ability to contribute in any way toward her family’s medical bills, please consider donating. She has medical bills coming in from 3 different orthopedic doctors, 3 different hospitals in 2 states, as well as bills from multiple ambulance companies, laboratories, radiologists, etc. After the first of the year, her insurance will start fresh, and she will again need to meet her deductibles and out of pocket maximums before her insurance starts to pay again, which will add up to me an additional thousands of dollars on top of what she already owes. It will help Caroline and her family concentrate on her recovery during this difficult time and not have to worry about how to pay these huge medical bills.
