Hello, my name is Helen and my mother Caroline passed away on May 6, 2024. The most basic funeral will cost our family $8,000. We need to get her from New Jersey to Long Island to be buried with my father.

My mother did not have life insurance and I have been unemployed since October 2023. My unemployment benefits have ended and I've taken minimum-wage jobs to get by while I search for a permanent position.
