My sister Caroline is one of the most generous and giving people that I've ever known. Now she needs our help. On Sunday 12/09/23 she was brought to Upstate Medical University emergency department because she was very confused, had aphasia, and signs of possible stroke. She has been admitted and is in the Neuroscience unit. She has been treated for infection, stroke, and concussion. Caroline has also been having seizures and is continuously monitored by video EEG. As of this morning her doctors have ruled out an infection, but they still haven't determined what the cause is and will need to do more tests. and while she is slowly improving, she still has a long way to go and will be in the hospital for a few weeks.

Caroline works a full time job, and a part-time job to be able to pay for her rent, vehicle, and utilities. She was supposed to start a 3rd job the very day she ended up in the hospital. We would love to raise enough money that she can concentrate on getting better and not have to worry about her monthly bills, or the large medical bills that will be in her future.
