Carole's Colon Cancer Journey

My name is Carole and I'm fundraising for medical care and I am seeking funds to help cover the costs of my Colon Cancer surgery (done on February 9th) and the follow up Chemotherapy and possibly Radiation treatments that may not be covered by my health insurance. I am off recovering for 6-7 weeks from the surgery and will be out of work that entire time. And, with the Chemo treatments, it may or may not go beyond that time frame. Since it appears that my health insurance may not sufficiently cover the cost of the surgery and chemotherapy, my family suggested that I start a GO FUND ME account to help with this HUGE financial burden.

Note from my family-

Carole has been through so much with a lot of physical pain, many tests and procedures and the big shock of her diagnosis and the surgery. She just learned that she will also need to have Chemotherapy, most likely up until the June time frame. In addition to all this stress, she has the worry about extensive financial burdens. My life as I knew it has turned upside down and it's very unreal. I have to keep going for my husband my 2 furbabies and ALL my family and friends.
