Carol Witherspoon Memorial Fund

On Christmas day, Carol Witherspoon, a mother of seven and the second youngest of six, passed away. Carol was a strong, caring, and loving person. She always cherished the love she shared with those close to her and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Sadly, on the morning of Christmas Eve she was rushed to the hospital due to a mild heart attack. While in the ER they discovered she was also suffering from internal bleeding. Upon further testing, she was moved to the ICU. In the early hours of Christmas Day, her heart stopped briefly. While she was resuscitated, she continued experiencing complications, resulting the need for a ventilator.

The doctors performed multiple surgeries throughout the day to try to find the source of the bleeding but were unsuccessful. Later that night she passed away surrounded by all seven of her children, peacefully. Being the strong women she was, Carol fought till the very end. Now, she can rest in peace with no stress or burdens on her shoulders. We know she will be carefully watching over all the people she loves.

Any donations and prayers would be greatly appreciated by our family as we wrap our heads around this devasting news. We love you mom <3 forever & always.
