Carol Trasatto was a gifted and brilliant herbalist, who has selflessly served for over twenty-five years in Olympia, Washington. A treasure to us in Olympia, where we have been able to walk into our local herb store, Radiance Herbs and Massage, and receive expert support for our herbal needs. She has taught many of us a deep reverence for the plant world.
After nine years of being cancer-free, our dear, precious Carol entered another journey with lymphoma. On Tuesday, Feb 26th, an oncologist confirmed B-cell Lymphoma from biopsy results. Carol received the RICE protocol chemotherapy. After a valiant attempt at life, through two round of this chemo treatment, Carol passed away from this world on March 24th, 2019.
Carol's life was dedicated to serving our community in Olympia and serving the field of herbalism worldwide. These are not lucrative professions, so your financial gifts are greatly appreciated.
Carol's brother, Steve Trasatto, will be the beneficiary of the funds that will be used to pay medical bills not covered by insurance and any end of life expenses.
A community end of life celebration is being planned for May in Olympia. Details are forthcoming.
