Carol Coker - emergency community support request

Most of you know or have heard of Carol and Dave Coker .  They have been apart of this community for many years now and have made an impact on many different peoples lives. Dave has been a coach for multiple sports in the Klamath Basin for more years than we can count, and Carol is a part of the Healthy Families program at KBBH. She is very involved in helping new young moms with caring for their children. This couple has spent countless hours volunteering in the community. Carol currently helps with the Klamath Warming Center and  both she and her husband were deeply involved in starting and running a youth ministry known as YoungLife and WyldLife for years. Their impact on our community is tremendous and now they are in turn in need of help.
 
Carol was recently troubled with what she thought was an ear infection - that quickly escalated within a few days that ended her up in the emergency room at Sky Lakes, Wednesday (2/12) afternoon. She was taken in for an MRI and immediately flown to OHSU in Portland for further treatment . Her ear infection had gone through the bone and into her brain. This caused severe pain and confusion for Carol. Through extensive blood work it was discovered the Carol has a bacterial infection in her blood they believe to be caused by strep/pneumonia. After almost a week she is still in the Neuro ICU at OHSU. She is on antibiotics that seem to be getting rid of the infection and she has had a tube inserted into her ear to drain as much of the infection as is possible.
 
The family continues to stand in faith that God will do all the healing and she will be back to her amazing self in no time.  They are very thankful for the emotional and spiritual  support they are receiving.  Unfortunately, due to the extended stay in Portland as well as loss of work and cost of essentials they are in need of financial support immediately as well as in the future for the medical issues she will be facing as a result of this.  They are currently not sure how long she will need to stay at OHSU and has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
