Carol (Cain) Slaughter, Medical Emergency.

Hi! My name is Selina Slaughter, daughter of Carol Slaughter. For those of you who are unaware on Friday, October 1st, 2021, our lives flipped upside down. My momma was life flighted to University Hospital‘s due to a subdermal hematoma and had to have emergency brain surgery. At this time we are desperately searching for answers but have found none. My mom is currently in the hospital and will be there for upwards of two months. After that she will need long term therapy… She did unfortunately have two minor strokes due to the swelling in her brain after the surgery. She has also (even though at this time unrelated to the Subdermel hematoma) been diagnosed with Fibromuscular dysplasia…. this is something that is very difficult to ask and not to mention, extremely humbling, however anything anyone is able to donate will help my family continue to be able to pay bills and any future medical bill. This is going to be a difficult process… we’ve got a long journey ahead. We are hopeful. We also except prayers and positive thoughts!
