As you know, I am a realtor. I had sold a home in Del Webb, Edgewater in Elgin, to a very close friend that I have known for over 35 years. She was moving to a ranch home because of health issues. We just closed on her house last Friday, October 30th and she moved in over the weekend. On Wednesday evening, November 4th, a bathroom fan shorted causing a fire in the roof and the entire house burned to the ground. She and her family members living with her have lost everything!  She is devastated by  this unbelievable disaster. I’m asking for anyone that can, to please contribute to this fund to help ease Carol’s hardship. Thank you so much!
