Shayne Wasley has been a tow truck driver for fifty years...he's seen a lot.

My name is Mason and I am a Producer working for Mezzanine Films on a new short film documentary entitled - "Carnage".

The film shines a light on the dangers and devastating consequences of car accidents on Australian roads. Shane's experience as a first responder delivers a confronting reminder of the devastation caused by reckless driving. This film is designed to make us all sit up and take a good hard look at our behaviour behind the wheel.

Produced by award-winning director, Stig Wemyss, and ARIA-nominated and AACTA award-winning cinematographer, Anthony Littlechild, this film is a powerful statement on Australian road use.

We hope to raise awareness, encourage safer driving habits, and help people understand that the consequences of a road accident extend far beyond those directly involved told through first hand experience by Shayne "The Waz" Wasley.

The film has been shot and edited but we have run out of funds to complete the project. We need $10,000 for:

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us finish bringing this important project to life and allow us to reach more people with a message that could ultimately help save lives.

We have put together a fundraising event to help kick-start this Go Fund Me. This will be held at "Roxy's" in Albert lane, off Clarendon Street in South Melbourne on November 7th. This will include a live Q&A with Shayne and the crew.

If we're able to reach our goal, we can complete the film in time to debut at the St.Kilda Film Festival in June 2027.
