“Let me know when you get home.”
“Make sure you make it home safely.”
“Love you buddy.”
There’s someone in every person’s life that I can guarantee has a specific laugh, a certain demeanor, who you can bet will show up late with a smile, and who has a perspective on life that makes you want to keep yours going. In our lives, that person is CJ. On July 15th, 2023, Carmine (CJ) Amabile was involved in a motorcycle accident, doing something he loved, that resulted in a DAI brain injury. At that time his brain, and his body, came to a halt. If the world ever stood still, and if time froze in place, that is the experience CJ is enduring, as well as his family and close friends. CJ has taken small, but hopeful, strides in his recovery day by day. We encourage your tenacity in this situation to help build toward CJ’s quality of life; to give a small portion towards whatever help may be necessary in this time and the time of rehabilitation to come ahead. Hug your friends and family closely, tell them you love them, and live life to its fullest. Be aware of your surroundings and check not once, but twice, for motorcycles. Thank you for your generosity and support in joining hands with and respecting the privacy of his loving mother, Michelle, and his dearest brothers, Leo and Anthony, in bringing CJ home. We love you, buddy.
