Carmina's Story
Donation protected
We were surprised to hear the words come out of her mouth, yet she did it without a quiver of her lip or a tear in her eye. "I HAVE CANCER". I think those around Carmina know how strong she is, but now also know, how weak we are. This wife, mother of 2 and most amazing person will beat this horrible disease. As people who have been lucky enough to hear a famous "Carmina" 45 min story of an event that took 10 seconds, we have an obligation to help her through this and allow her to continue to tell those stories.
Carmina is fighting breast cancer. Along with her, as always, is her family. Some trying to grasp and understand what is happening (loosing hair) to her husband trying to keep that smile on his face. This fund, albeit a modest ammount, isn't for Carmina's medical fund.

This fund is to allow her family to continue to be by her side and function with a level of normalcy that we all take for granted in our life. Time off from work, time away from it all to really enjoy each other is what we can give to this family. I ask each of you to read this, standing in front of a mirror, and ask yourself, what would you do for the person you are looking at, then find it in your heart, to give what ever you can. It doesn't have to be monetary, and it doesn't have to be today. It can be a babysitting coupon so they can go to the movies, it can be a tank of gas later on when you have extra money, so they can drive to the park. What ever it is, I implore you to give.
