Carmen's Path to Religious Life Needs You

Sacred Heart of Jesus Run…for life

Like Peter, today, my sister runs. We ask for your help in this run that she has begun and is for a lifetime. Peter, even with fear, he ran. Even if she doesn’t understand everything, she RUNS and trusts in God’s plan.

Before Carmen became a missionary, she liked to do fundraisers for the American Heart Association, etc. but this time it's different, it's for a divine heart. It's been about three years since Carmen left home to do a missionary experience. She used to enjoy serving at our church, at work, in the community, in our family, but she realized that God was asking her to serve Him more closely. This is not a 5K run, a Spartan race, the American Heart Association, etc. but rather a run to bring others closer to the heart of Jesus.

When she joined the missionary community, they were making an exception by allowing her to enter. It was a hard situation, because as she was voluntarily doing missionary work, she had student loans pending. As much as she loved her crossfit days, she realized that not only was it important to be physically fit, but also spiritually strong. She was given the grace to answer God’s call due to the great need she saw for evangelization, for the Word of God to reach families, especially the families being divided by violence. She trusted that if this was what God wanted her to do, then there would be a solution for her situation.

Unfortunately, she will not be able to continue to the novitiate stage, which is the next step in religious life, until her school debt of $20,000 is resolved.

Carrera Sagrado Corazón de Jesús… para toda la vida

Como Pedro, hoy mi hermana corre. Les pedimos su ayuda en esta carrera que ha comenzado y que es para toda la vida. Pedro, aún con miedo, corrió. Aunque ella no lo entienda todo, CORRE y confía en el plan de Dios.

Antes de ser misionera, Carmen disfrutaba recaudar fondos para la Asociación Americana del Corazón, etc., pero esta vez es diferente: es para un corazón divino. Han pasado tres años desde que Carmen dejó su hogar para vivir una experiencia misionera. Disfrutaba sirviendo en nuestra iglesia, en el trabajo, en la comunidad, en nuestra familia, pero se dio cuenta de que Dios le pedía que lo sirviera más de cerca. Esta no es una carrera de 5 km, ni una carrera de deportes, ni para la Asociación Americana del Corazón, etc., sino una carrera para acercar a otros al corazón de Jesús.

Cuando se unió a la comunidad misionera, hicieron una excepción al permitirle participar. Fue una situación difícil, ya que, al ser misionera era voluntaria, mientras tenía préstamos pendientes de sus estudios. Aunque ella disfrutaba mucho de sus días de crossfit, de ir al gimnasio, se dio cuenta de que no solo era importante la condición física, sino también la vida espiritual. Ella miraba la gran necesidad de evangelizar, de compartir la Palabra de Dios a las familias, especialmente a las familias divididas por la violencia. Ella recibió la gracia de responder al llamado de Dios y confía en que si esto es lo que Dios quiere de ella, entonces habrá una solución para su situación.

Lamentablemente, no podrá continuar en el noviciado, que es el siguiente paso en la vida religiosa, hasta que se resuelve su deuda escolar de $20,000.

Por favor, considere ayudar para que ella pueda continuar en la vida religiosa y usted sea parte de su historia vocacional. Que Dios multiplique todo lo que comparte en esta necesidad.
