Carmen Sonnenburg

Our good friend & fellow firefighter Carmen, was in a car accident Oct 1st in Tofino. She is currently at Vancouver General Hospital in the Spinal Unit with what could be a long road ahead. Her father and sister have been by her side since the accident, with the assistance & wonderful hospitality of the Vancouver Fire Department. 


They both are having to travel back and forth ( Ed to Ontario, Irene to Edmonton) for school and work. While the next few months look to be a big transition, our goal will be to ensure them some surety that they will be able to have the ability to come back and forth to be with Carmen, and any other financial burdens they all may face.
