After many years of living with Parkinson's, our mama passed away a couple of days ago.  Throughout the years of various treatments, one she enjoyed and benefited greatly was her speech therapy exercises with Dr. Christine Carmichael, at OUR LADY OF THE LAKE. Oddly, hearing them practice sounded like a shouting match. Little did we know how helpful and effective these exercises were. Please help us fund Interns at Our Lady of the Lake, Harry Jersic Center. As they did for our mother, these amazing people can continue to help those with Parkinson's speak.
