My cousin is in need of help with the additional costs needed to care for her mother during this next phase of her mom's battle with Cancer.
This journey started in 2018 when her mother was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and was given 6 months to live. It has been arduous and challenging to say the least but 6 months came and she is still fighting! COVID hit and because of the challenges and compromised immune system her mom was already going through, additional intense chemotherapy was postponed. However, throughout this entire time and in the unforeseen future, her mother has not been able to work or provide an income for herself.
On Sunday 8/31/20, her mother was admitted to the hospital for an intense migraine and neurological issues. She was unable to walk or think clearly and knew something was wrong. They immediately sent her to another nearby hospital where she could be seen by their Neurosurgeons since they did find a mass in her brain. It was determined on Monday 9/1 that if the mass was not taken out, her mother could have only weeks left on this Earth. The decision was made to extract the tumor in order to give her the best possible opportunity. 9/2 neurosurgery was done to take out the tumor and she is on the next phase of recovery. The surgery was successful but the road is far from over.
This next journey entails an incredible amount of time, energy and resources to help sustain this next phase of her illness. My cousin will need to spend money on extra care for her children in order for her to care for her mother, potential in home care for her mother while she is away at work to help with preparing meals & any additional care her mom needs. As well as assistance with food, medical bills and any other immediate needs for her mother.
Anything will help at this time. My cousin is an only child, with 2 boys of her own who absolutely adore their grandmother. Her mother is everything to her and she needs to be able to provide the best fighting chance to give her mom the care she needs. These funds will help ease the load and give the resources needed to make this all possible.

Mi prima necesita de nuestra ayuda con los costos addicionales para el cuidado de su madre quien esta peliando en contra de CANCER. Esta pelea empezo en 2018 cuando fue diagnosticada con CANCER DE OVARIOS FASE 4. En ese entonces le dieron solo 6 meses de vida y debo decir que en efecto ha sido muy dificil, pero al mismo tiempo estamos agradecidos de que ella este todavia aqui con nosotros luchando y peliando a pesar del diagnostico. Tambien debido a Covid 19 el trabajo de mi prima se vio afectado y ha estado cuidando de su madre durante todo este tiempo. El Domingo 08/31/2020, mi tia fue admitida al hospital con una migraña muy fuerte, estas migrañas le estaban causando que ella no pudiera caminar ni tampoco pensar Claramente. Supimos que no era algo normal por lo cual fue enviada de inmediato a otro hospital para mas evaluaciones. Los examenes hechos por el neuro-cirujano, identificaron una masa en el cerebro. Determinaron intervenirla lo mas pronto posible de lo contrario ella tendria solo semanas de vida tenian que extraer el tumor. La operacion tomo lugar el 09/02/2020 estamos muy agradecidos con Dios de que todo salio bien..Ahora empieza la fase de recuperacion y esta sera larga, requiere de mucha energia, tiempo, y recursos monetarios. Mi prima necesita los recursos para los mejores cuidados necesarios que le devuelvan la salud a su madre, al mismo tiempo necesita una persona que pueda cuidar su madre preparar sus alimentos mientras ella trabaja. Cualquier ayuda que pueda dar es necesaria mi prima es hija unica con dos hijos que adoran a su abuela. Mi prima solo quiere ayudar a su madre a seguir peliando es todo para ella.
