My mom is an amazing mother and grandmother. She is one of the most generous hard working people I know. Sadly on Friday January 26th, 2021 she was diagnosed with metastatic Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). For the entire year of 2020 she was in constant pain and suffered until she finally decided to go to the hospital a week before Christmas, and she was never told about the mass on her liver and they never bothered to look at the lump on her face. 3 weeks later she went to another hospital and the same day she was told the worse news possible “cancer”. For almost a month she was getting test after test and blood work after blood work to find out on February 4, 2021 she has another type of cancer, Adenocarcinoma of the salvia gland. She had surgery to remove the cancer from her salvia gland on February 8, 2021. She now suffers from temporary paralysis of the face, and she starts chemo February 18, 2021. My mom is a very stubborn women and is still trying to continue to work while fighting two different cancers. She will never ask for help but I know this new journey is going to be very difficult with surgeries, chemo, radiation, and all these doctors appointments. I also know with the pandemic still going on everyone is struggling, but anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!
