Carmen Hernandez Paredes Beltran

To our dear Ecuadorean community, family, friends, and others:

We regretfully wanted to inform to you all on this Platform the loss of our irreplaceable mother Carmen Paredes Hernandez Beltran, who was born on 04/16/1930 in Quito, Ecuador, and passed away on 09/27/2023 in the city of Burbank, CA. My mother came to this country in 1971 after the loss of her husband (our dad) by herself. She was able to fight the adversities of this complicated world. This motivated her to come here independently and work to bring all her children to a better life in the U.S. She was both our mother & father figure of all (8) children, in which (3) passed away in her 93 years of life. Our mother had a lot of accomplishments in this country like becoming a citizen. We gladly appreciate our mother for everything that she has done for us, which is why this is a difficult time for our family. As we approach our mother’s funeral services, we are experiencing some financial hardships which we were not prepared for. Our warrior mother…may she rest in beautifully in peace.

A nuestra querida comunidad, familiares, amigos y demás Ecuatorianos:

Lamentablemente queríamos informarles a todos en esta Plataforma la pérdida de nuestra irremplazable madre Carmen Paredes Hernández Beltrán, quien nació el 16/04/1930 en Quito, Ecuador, y falleció el 27/09/2023 en la ciudad de Burbank. , CA. Mi madre llegó a este país en 1971 después de perder sola a su esposo (nuestro papá). Pudo luchar contra las adversidades de este mundo complicado. Esto la motivó a venir aquí de forma independiente y trabajar para llevar a todos sus hijos a una vida mejor en los EE. UU. Ella fue nuestra figura materna y paterna de todos (8) niños, de los cuales (3) fallecieron en sus 93 años de vida. Nuestra madre tuvo muchos logros en este país, como convertirse en ciudadana. Con mucho gusto apreciamos a nuestra madre por todo lo que ha hecho por nosotros, por eso este es un momento difícil para nuestra familia. A medida que nos acercamos al funeral de nuestra madre, estamos experimentando algunas dificultades financieras para las que no estábamos preparados. Nuestra madre guerrera… que descanse hermosamente en paz.
