As most of you know, Carmen was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma cancer in January. Unfortunately, the treatment was not successful and we found out in April that the cancer had spread throughout her body. Currently, Carmen needs 24/7 care and as a family we are sharing that. But very soon, Carmen will need professional care to come into the home to care for her. Sadly, Carmen’s health insurance does not cover in-home care so the cost will be out of pocket. Carmen has a limited income and no savings to afford the care she needs. All funds from this GoFundMe will go towards her end of life care.
