I have never done one of these so bear with me!
One of my besties, Carmen, and her boyfriend, Maciej, were involved in a horrible car accident last week.
Last Monday night they were in a car accident where they were hit exactly a block away from home. The person who hit them was going 80MPH down a residential street while attempting to flee the police.
Carmen was the one driving and has a broken neck and three broken vertebrae in her back. Maciej has a few broken ribs, broken femur, hip, and pelvis and is recovering from surgery. The car they were driving is completely totaled.
They are finally out of the hospital and back home to begin healing. Unfortunately the person hit them in a stolen car and is most likely not going to have anything to give them. They are both out of work, now have tremendous hospital bills, and are without a vehicle once they are done healing.
