Don protégé
My name is Criselda Talamantes and
On Thursday December 7th I took my beloved mother to her Dr appointment at 1045am, she was completely fine but once we were getting ready to head back home my mother started feeling very dizzy and weak, we ran in to get a doctor to come out (cardiologist) but neither 3 of the doctors there had the humanity to walk outside an help us with my mom. After 3x of insisting, 2 Medical assistance came out with some alcohol pads. By that time we had EMS on the way. She was rushed to Clovis community hospital were she was able get stable with the medical help.
About 3pm I left to get something to eat and around 330pm I received a call saying that my mother was going to be admitted due to Bradycardia and that she was anemic which required her to get a blood transfusion.
As her Daughter I wanted her to be well so I gave permission for the blood. By 430pm I was back at the ER and as I walked towards her room (RedZone) I seen multiple nurses and Doctors standing out of her room, I immediately ran and started questioning and Noone was able to tell me anything, I found my way through and in her room and seen that her Oxygen was at 88%,,,,apparently she had a fluid overload with the blood transfusion. Before I knew it they were intubating her and all I was able to say was "Everything is going to be okay mom, and she still nodded her head at me" That's the last time I seen her awake.
By 10pm she was in the ICU with NO sedation and No Pain Medication, unresponsive with ventilation at 100%
At almost 24hrs, ICU team had to performed CPR due to cardiac arrest, they got her heart back going but everything went more downhill.
My mother fought like a champ, but the Lord had other plans, On December 12th @ 1238pm my mother went to Heaven.
This is extremely hard for us being that she was/is the pearl of our family. And then being in the middle of the holidays just made it even worse!! I can't express the pain and emptiness I feel with out her. We have her gifts under our xmas tree..
And due to all the holidays we had spent a lot and now we are short for the funeral expenses..
I am very shy and do not like to ask for help but for my mommas sake I will stand with my head held high and ask everyone that if you are able to help us with anything at all, $5, $10, $20 anything will be a true blessing because it will all add up and we will be able to complete the amount that we need to lay my mother to rest. We are also asking for prayers, and if you could please share this Gofundme..
God bless you!!
