Carmel's Warriors: Fight Against Tongue Cancer

Carmel’s Warriors! We are currently at MD Anderson in Houston for treatment for my mom for tongue cancer. If you are reading this, you know my mom is a giver and won’t ask anyone for anything. So many of you have asked, so I wanted to have a place for those who felt led. Cancer treatment escalates quickly and housing alone is averaging over $1k a week. We have our name on waiting lists for reduced housing, but it is a long list and we have exhausted our hotel “points.” She has basic Medicare only, so out of pocket expenses are going to be very large, in addition to the tube feedings, medications & travel expenses. Is she thrilled that I set this up? No, but she is aware so I am proceeding for those who do feel led. I’m afraid the bills are going to be HUGE (Besides the housing, Medicare will pay 80%, so if her bill is $100k they will owe $20k, $200k, they will owe $40k, etc. We are covering what we can, but I want money to be the last thing on her mind. We covet your prayers THE MOST, but I feel led to let others know about her need, should they want to bless in this way. We love you all dearly and are honored by your love in any form-prayer, well wishes or otherwise.
