EAGLE BRONX GOES TO ITALY

My name is Carmel Renee Macklin and I am a Global History teacher at The Eagle Academy for Young Men an all boys public school in the South Bronx. Every year I help facilitate an abroad trip for our boys to expose them to different cultures, people groups and places around the world. So far our young men have traveled to Spain, Morocco, China, Turkey and Greece. This year we will be taking 18 of our young men grades 8-12 on a 9 day excursion to 5 different cities in Italy including Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan and Pompei!
The mostly all-inclusive trip is around $3,400 per student which is very costly for some of our parents to afford, so I am fundraising to pay a significant portion of the trip for two of our students most in need, lunches for the group as well as tips for the bus drivers and tour guides which are all additional costs not included in the price of the tour. We are traveling in April of 2016 (this year) and need these funds as soon as possible for us to meet the deadline and be fully paid off by the end of February.
Your donation would mean so much to our boys, who we are grooming to be upstanding global citizens who will have a positive impact on their family and community. I have witnessed how these abroad trips can be life changing experiences for many of our students who have not traveled outside of the Bronx let alone internationally.
