Carmelo Needs Urgent Surgery, Please Help

This is my best friend Jami’s dog 9 year old Carmelo. I want to take a moment to share his story…..In

May 2024 she received devastating news—Carmelo was diagnosed with grade 3 fibrosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer. Since then she’s been doing everything possible to keep him happy and comfortable.

Carmelo has undergone multiple surgeries—two to remove tumors from his leg and two more to re-stitch his wounds since the location makes healing extremely difficult. In January the tumor returned and in February she learned that the cancer had metastasized to his lung. Now, the tumor on his leg is dangerously close to bursting and he desperately needs surgery to debulk it.

Back in January she was told Carmelo had only 3 to 6 months left. If she can get this surgery done she can relieve his pain and possibly give him more time to enjoy life with the people who love him.

She has already spent close to $10,000 on his care and could really use some support to get past this final hurdle. The most important thing is trying to keep Carmelo as comfortable as possible in his final months. Any donation no matter how small will make a difference.
