Carmella P. Riley Memorial Foundation

In Dutchess County, you know the name Riley.  Carmella P. Riley Thomas sadly suffered a unexpected life threatening injury on Wednesday May 20, 2020. She was taken to Vassar Brothers Hospital and placed on life support. Due to the severity of the nature of the injuries, Carmella is currently resting, preparing for her transition to enteral peace. Carmella is in the presence of her beloved daughter Keeana Riley, who is her pride and joy. She is waiting on the arrival of her only son Joshua S .Holland, who made sudden travel arrangements from Phoenix Arizona to be by her side before she journeys on to paradise. As unimaginable as this painful  circumstance already is on her children, the unexpected burden of end of life expenses only adds additional trauma to this devastating premature loss. Furthermore, the sudden cost to travel during these COVID times have made it increasingly difficult for her family to be together. There is no price that will ever help their broken hearts but I calculated the expenses and it looks like they will need close to $9,000. At this time, due to COVID19 our family is unable to physically be there to support Keeana and Joshua however, social distancing can not come between the strength and love that Carmella instilled in every one that knew her.
