Update 11/28/16* (If you would like your donation to go to a specific team member please leave their name in the comments section along with your donation. If you would like to donate to the general pool for travel funds then no comment is necessary. Thanks in advance for your help!)

Our team is participating in Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams, which is a grant for up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions for real-world problems.  We have been lucky enough to recieve it for the 2016-2017 cycle.

This means that we will get to make our invention, which is a seizure-detecting and anticonvulsant drug-injecting system that uses both EDA and EMG sensors in order to minimize both the mortality and sequelae of SE and increase the survival rate of sufferers.

This also means that we will need to attend EurekaFest at MIT in June of 2017 (in Cambridge, MA).  This is an event where we will showcase our invention to MIT professors, students, and the public.

MIT pays for 6 students to go on this trip, however, we have 15 members.  That means that 9 people will not be able to come without funding.  This is why we need funding for airfare, room and board, and other expenses.

We will be very thankful for any donations, as it will help us acheive the dream we have been working 2 years for.  Here's the link to the InvenTeams website for more information:
