It is that time of year again to raise funds for the Carmel Junior Post Prom Party 2024!

This party is not just for the sake of partying. It was created originally for the Class of '91 by our then local chapter of MADD and SADD with the one goal of keeping the kids and the community safe. The creators wanted a place the children could all go and continue their evening together until the wee hours of the morning without drinking and driving. One student confided in a mom last year they liked that it was a party with no peer pressure, alcohol or drugs.

This party has been successful in that a high percentage of the students attended every year for over 30 years. My friends and I still have great memories of that evening where members of the community transformed parts of the high school overnight into a spectacular night for us.

While it is true this event is no longer allowed to be held at Carmel High School, we are so fortunate to have Carmel Sports Club in our community that is the perfect place to create an indoor playground for the night!

The kids love this location! If you did not want to play sports or use the bouncy houses you could still watch from the area above. They liked that it felt inclusive and enjoyed the easy transfer from space to space. We are excited to be able to hold the event there once again.

Over the years it has evolved into a tradition the kids look forward to and the community strives to outdo the year before with new activities and added surprises.

This year we hope to improve upon last year with new inflatables, photo booth, karaoke, sports, games, tattoos and more!

This is FREE of charge to attend. Juniors and their date can attend even if they do not attend the Prom.

This is NOT a school event. It is completely funded by Family, Friends and Community. We are so blessed to not only have food and drink donated by local restaurants, but also have parents volunteering their time to fundraise, set up, chaperone, perform security, also pick up and drop off food and decorations. Your donation helps us rent the space and pay for all of the things that make it the spectacular event that keep the kids coming back every year to a safe, alcohol free, fun environment.
