Carlys Cancer fight
My name is Rachel and I am setting up this fundraiser to help My best friend Carly, She has just been diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time in 2 years. She has Hodgkin’s lymphoma again.
Carly is the most inspirational person I know! Not only has she already fought cancer once before but she also did it with 3 young children on her own. Carlys first diagnosis came a week after giving birth to her youngest child and he is now only 2.
After completing Chemotherapy and having to take the time to heal Carly finally returned to work only to find 2 lumps in her neck and a mass in her chest. Having been told the cancer is back after such a short time has had such a devastating effect on her the kids and also her job.
I am asking if you could support us in any way you can to help raise money for Carly and four cancer support charities.

> Mummy star - Mummy’s Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to women and their families diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within 12 months of giving birth.
> The Osborne trust - The Trust was launched in 2014 by Emma Osborne after her cancer diagnosis aged 36 years. The Trust was started from the families own experience of how they dealt with the situation, what worked and what they found lacking in terms of family support.
The Trust provides children aged 16 years and under whose parent/s have cancer access to recreational activities during a parent/s treatment by funding up to 3 activities such as a cinema trip, play centre visit or a meal out. Activities are supervised by an adult family member or friend. The aim is to offer the parent/s some rest and the children some time away from all that cancer entails.

The reason we are supporting these charities is to give back, each and every one of these charities helped support Carly and the kids throughout her last battle and this time we think it’s only right we help them back.
also to help Carly and the children through this devastating time by relieving the stress off her plate so she can focus on fighting the cancer and getting back into remission.
All the money raised will go towards The 4 Charities and Carly.
