Carly’s Battle

On July 13, 2020 our family found out some devasting news. Carly's biopsy results came back positive for breast cancer.  Carly went in September 8th for a lumpectomy surgery.  During the surgery, they removed all of her lymph nodes in her left arm. 38 out of 41 of them came back positive for cancer. Carly continues to have a long road to recovery. October 12th she will be starting her 1st of 8 rounds of chemotherapy, followed by radiation. 

As chemotherapy will be one of her toughest battles, Carly plans on trying to work while she goes through treatments.  We would like Carly to focus on her recovery and feel comfortable taking days off to rest her body. With the stress of the diagnosis and treatment, we would like to help relieve some of the financial stress she will go through with her bills and increasing medical expenses. 


Many people within her support team have already reached out and asked if we were going to start a GoFundMe.  After much debate and with restrictions due to the pandemic, we have decided to start one.  The money donated will go towards her treatment and monthly expenses. We will be planning a benefit after Carly finishes chemotherapy, but we wanted Carly not to feel the financial burden while she begins her treatment October 12th. 


We appreciate the overwhelming amount of love and support everyone has shown to Carly and our family. Thank you everyone for coming together to show Carly that she will not be fighting this alone! We will continue to update everyone during this journey and we will beat this!
