UPDATE:
On April 2, our family said goodbye to our daughter and sister, Carly Grace. Amid our sadness, we made the decision to help save the lives of others through the donation of Carly’s organs and tissue. This gift of life brings much joy and hope to those who have waited for a suitable match for their medical needs. In our suffering, Carly continues to bring happiness to others.
We greatly appreciate everyone who has kept us in their thoughts and prayers this week. Family, friends, classmates, teammates, teachers, co-workers, and neighbors have been so supportive as we faced this unbelievable tragedy. Our entire family says “thank you” to those who visited the hospital, sent messages, donated to the Gofundme account and initiated countless other acts of love and support.
A celebration of life will be held in Nevada, Iowa, at a date soon to be determined.

The Morris family (Corey, Melissa, Brady and Nile) suffered an incredible shock to their family on Monday, March 27. Their 13-year old daughter, Carly, suffered an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) rupture in her brain. She was taken to the children's hospital at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Despite best efforts of the medical staff, the severity of the AVM caused severe damage to Carly's brain that would not allow for recovery.
In anticipation of unexpected bills associated with both Carly's care and miscellaneous expenses, this fund has been established to provide a way for anyone to contribute to the family financially.
On behalf of the Morris family, thank you for your care and support.
