Veteran needs medical treatment
Donation protected
My beloved Carlton Caudle, a military veteran and veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, has always put others needs before his own. He never ask anyone for help, but now he needs OUR help. On May 20th Carlton found himself in the emergency room at Seton Hospital with severe chest pains. He wound up having heart surgery just 5 days later. After a series of test, from sonograms, ekgs, chest xrays, not to mention the countless blood draws...it winds up that he has vascular disease and Pericarditis. (fluid around the heart) Furthermore, Carlton is still being told it could be other things also causing his severe chest pain. So more doctor visits and more test to come soon. Carlton thought he was getting better, but just had another very painful night. And therefore was added more medicine to his already growing list. Three trips to the emergency room and an extended stay in the hospital and the test as well as some of the procedures we found that not all are covered by insurance. Plus now he is being sent to Houston to be seen by a specialist not listed on his insurance. Also, Carlton has not been able to work and has suffered a loss in income too during this ordeal.
If you can help he and I would appreciate it very much. No amount is too small. Every cent will help.
Carlton is a humble man. He's a father of four (three of which are in college and one in Jr high) Carlton spends a lot of his time helping others by finding them jobs and giving them career advice at no charge. He is the most selfless person I know. But today he needs help himself. He's strong and a fighter and he will beat this. I just don't want the added stress of not being able to see doctors that could help him or be worried about how he will pay a the bills stop him from getting well.
Carlton needs to get back to being the happy, strong, inspirational, big smiling guy we all love so much.
Thank you for your support and continued prayers.
Sincerely,
Heidi
