Carlton Nash, An Appeal for Support

This appeal on behalf of a beloved member of the Muslim Community and dear friend who’s gravely ill and in need of financial support.  His name is Carlton Nash and he is suffering from Stage Four lung Cancer in addition to Congestive Heart Failure. I recently visited and prayed with him and was taken aback by the amount of weight he’s lost as well as his low level of energy; yet, his spirit is strong and outlook is positive and focused on healing.  At the same time, Carlton has prepared himself for the inevitable that we all, sooner or later, must face.  We spoke frankly about his wishes regarding the future and upon my insistence, he authorized me to make what I pray, will serve as a passionate appeal for your support.

Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 that will be utilized for the cost of one (1) modest burial plot as well as its opening and closing.  Any excess will go to those currently caring for him and to be utilized for his care and upkeep, i.e., his family.  Thank you for your generous contribution no matter how large or small and let us pray that G-d makes it easy on our Brother Carlton, easy on his family and easy on the community, Amen.
