Carl's Reef

Tax deductible
Last year on March 15, we lost a great man far too soon in service to our nation. Carl Enis and the rest of the crew of Jolly 51 were killed in action in Anbar Province, Iraq.

Carl was as avid of a an outdoorsmen as you will ever find, and fishing and diving were a constant pursuit in his life. We all immediately thought that a memorial artificial reef would be at least one fitting way to remember Carl while providing habitat for fish and recreation for divers.

This project is in it's early stages, but the most critical aspect is to begin raising enough money to purchase and construct artificial reefs and fund their installation offshore along with the other overhead costs related to building an artificial reef. The reef will be in the vicinity of Alligator Point, where Carl spent what time he could.

Lelantus Experience
Carl had started a blog about his adventures named after a Greek Titan, Lelantus, who was probably the god of air, moving unseen with the hunter's skill for stalking prey. His friends and family have been carrying the torch and have been completing some of Carl's planned adventures in his honor.

#BeMoreLikeCarl

In carrying on Carl's legacy, we've adopted the slogan Be More Like Carl.  He lived more in his 31 years than most anyone has, which is good motivation to get out there and do the things you've been talking about. Check out the hashtag on Instagram and use it when you're out checking things off your bucket list.
