Lava from the Kilauea Volcano on Hawaii's main Island completely destroyed my dads home on Saturday May 5th. 
Thursday evening fissures began opening up in the Leilani Estates where my Dad, young sister and stepmom reside.  Evacuations were ordered and they left immediately.. The rumbling and roar of the lava spewing a mile away from their home was terrifying. On Friday a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck and triggering several more fissures to open up. On Sat my dad was informed that a fissure had opened up at the street threatening their home.  By Sunday they were able to go to their property and were devastated to find their entire home completely burned. All they have is the clothes they packed in their suitcase Thursday night. Everything they owned is completely destroyed. 
Because of the zone the property is located, no insurance was attainable. They will not be receiving any funds from insurance so they have literally lost EVERYTHING! Please help. The land is unusable and is of zero value. They cannot rebuild on it - they have to start over completely. My dad is retired and on a fixed income.  This is truly devastating and heartbreaking.  
We hope to raise enough money to help my Dad and his wife, Ranu buy another home elsewhere so they can raise their young daughter Livia and hopefully put this extremely unfortunate situation behind them.
