Hello my name is Carl Cox, I have been battling issues with my foot and leg since 2019. I currently have had 10 surgeries. I found out today that my doctor has decided after 3 of the surgeries to my heel that he can not save it. We have been battling this very aggressively for the last 3 months with IV antibiotics 4 times a day but the infection will just not go away and keeps evolving into a different type. So he decided it is time to do a below the knee amputation. This is very devastating mentally to me. I know it will improve my quality of life due to not being in immense pain 24/7 but it is still a big shock to my life and mobility and will greatly affect being able to take care of my service dog Kenny James. I hate to ask for help but I'm in great need. I am trying to raise 500 dollars to be able to buy a smaller size folding power scooter to help me to be able to still get around. I'm looking at the smaller folding kind so that I am able to put it in my car. If you could please help I will be forever grateful, and all that you share my story on your pages to help spread the word for my cause.
