Carlow Mosque and Islamic School Project

The Carlow Islamic Cultural Centre (CICC) is an organization that caters the relgious, cultural, and social needs of Muslims in Carlow and surronding areas. It is based in Carlow town that is located in the southern part of Ireland. Mainly, CICC has two activities; The first one is Carlow Mosque that serves as a gathering place for worshippers and a hub for various community activities and the second is an Islamic School where we offer comprehensive classes in Islamic Studies, Qur'an Recitation, and Qur'an Memorisation, all aligned with the authentic teachings of the Qur'an and the ways of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

Currently, the local mosque and school building is on a rental contract. In addition, the mosque as well as the school has limited capacity to accommodate the growing number of muslims in the area. CICC is launching an appeal to build a permanent Mosque and Islamic School. The purpose of the project is to purchase a bigger land or building to establish a permanent Mosque and Islamic school in Carlow. The project named Carlow Mosque and Islamic School is driven by faith, community, and a spirit of giving, intending to foster peace, and understanding across diverse communities.
