Carlota Mata, my mother, she was such a unique person. I used to always tell myself there is no one like her in my life. For those who knew her, we knew her as outspoken, carefree, and someone who found light in any dark situation.... Oh and did I mention outspoken? Yes, my mother was known for saying what she thought and how she felt, but this is what made her so great. Through her I’ve learned many people hold in their true feelings, and never get to say what they want or how they truly feel. She taught me that feelings kept in the dark will always come to light, and the longer we hold them in, the stronger they come out. She taught me so much more than I can write in this paragraph, but I wanted to share with you all this one lesson. Hopefully you can see the impacts she had on me, and maybe even become a little more outspoken yourself.
I have planned the following services for my mother to take place on Thursday 2/17/2022:
-
Viewing and service starting at 11am - 1pm at the Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, California 94061. ** Masks will be required **
-
Burial will take place at 2 pm at The Gates of Heaven Catholic Cemetery 22555 Cristo Rey Dr, Los Altos, CA, 94024. ** Masks will be required**
