Hello, my name is Carlos Velázquez Vega. I am 48 years old, and 6 years ago, I began my journey with kidney disease. It has made me reaffirm many senses and things that I had been doing wrong. I managed to maintain control of the glomerulonephritis I have had for quite some time, but last July, my kidneys failed. July 19 was my first dialysis, and to this day, I undergo dialysis 4 times a week for 4 hours a day (home hemodialysis).

I am on the list for a kidney transplant, and it is for that reason that I come to ask for your help. My medical plan covers 80% of the transplant, but the remaining 20%, plus trips and stays at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas, are not covered. That's why I need your help to cover the remainder. All the required tests and labs are super good; we're just waiting now. My family and I will be eternally grateful for any contribution you make.
