Carlos’s flooded apartment in NYC.

Hi, my name is Megan. Carlos is a co-worker of mine at a downtown off-Broadway theatre. He is a valued and trusted member of our community who has worked as a custodian to make sure our buildings where clean and safe through the pandemic, through opening our lobbies to support protestors, through re-opening our spaces to artists, crew and audience members.

He recently lost everything in the flooding of his apartment due to remnants of Ida hitting NYC (he’s in queens). He supports a family abroad and has done a lot as a partner and friend to support others. We now are asking for some support to help him.
