In Memory of Carlos Arroyo

About Carlos:

Carlos A. Arroyo of New Hampton, N.Y., a Hydraulics Supervisor for the New York City Transit Authority for the past 20 years and a twenty-year resident of the area died on September 16, 2022, at the Kaplan Hospice Residence in Newburgh, N.Y.

Carlos was 56 years of age.

The son of Consuelo Vasquez and Nolases Arroyo, he was born in Guatemala in 1966.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Stephanie Arroyo, and their children, Brandon D. Arroyo, Victoria C. Arroyo, and Sabrina J. Arroyo.

He is also survived by his sister Ana Maria Monterroso and his brother Jose Arroyo, along with his nieces and nephews Andrea Arroyo, Wilson Arroyo, Ana Beatriz, Amilcar Estuardo, and Luis Pedro.

Carlos was pre-deceased by his siblings Rosario Arroyo, Miriam Monterrose, Nolasco Arroyo, and Romulo Arroyo.

The Fundraiser:

My name is Andrew Hablow, and this fundraiser is being organized by myself, George Pavlidis, and Ethan Zirilli. Carlos’ son, Brandon Arroyo, has been our best friend for nearly as long as we can remember, and we have organized this fundraiser to help honor the great man that raised our best friend and his sisters to be the amazing people they are today. I have no memories of Carlos without a smile spread across his face and he always tried to spread his happiness to others. He was an exceptional person and an even better father and everybody who had the privilege to know him was truly blessed.
