Carlos' Lung Cancer Fight
Donation protected
As long as I have known my father, he's been the most charismatic, friendliest, and inviting person out of anyone in a room. Carlos has always loved jokes; either telling a joke or pranking a friend. He also loves to help and throughout his entire life, he's dedicated his time to helping friends, family, and even strangers off the street. In Colombia, he was part of the Red Cross and continues to carry that desire to help. Today, he continues to serve his community through his duty as an alderman and volunteer.
Unfortunately, the past few years have been hard on him. He had two shoulder surgeries, a quadruple bypass surgery, and is now fighting Stage 4a lung cancer. He's recently completed radiation and is moving on to the second round of chemotherapy. Lung cancer was the last thing we'd ever expect him to have; he doesn't smoke or drink alcohol.
Because he is at home resting while he continues his treatment, we are hoping the community will rally around him to help out with his medical and personal costs. Anything you can donate will help lower any stress for him and hopefully help him recover quicker to get back on his feet again.
