Help me honor & remember my parents - Carlos & Celeste

This past week, my world changed forever. Both of my beloved parents passed away unexpectedly, leaving me heartbroken and facing an overwhelming road ahead. As I grieve this unimaginable loss, I am also navigating the financial burdens that come with saying goodbye.

In February, my dad was admitted to the hospital, struggling to breathe. We soon discovered he had pneumonia, along with kidney and heart complications. We fought for his recovery, hoping for the best. During this incredibly stressful time, my mom suffered a sudden heart attack. Both of my parents were in the ICU, and I was beside myself, watching the people I love most fight for their lives.

Doctors and nurses did everything in their power to help them, but tragically, neither of them was able to recover from their ailments. Losing both of my parents at once is something I never could have prepared for, emotionally or financially.

La semana pasada, mi mundo cambió para siempre. Mis dos queridos padres fallecieron inesperadamente, dejándome con el corazón roto y frente a un camino abrumador por delante. Mientras lloro esta pérdida inimaginable, también estoy navegando por las cargas financieras que vienen con decir adiós.

En febrero, mi padre fue ingresado en el hospital, luchando por respirar. Pronto descubrimos que tenía neumonía, junto con complicaciones renales y cardíacas. Luchamos por su recuperación, esperando lo mejor. Durante este momento increíblemente estresante, mi madre sufrió un ataque cardíaco repentino. Mis dos padres estaban en la UCI, y yo estaba fuera de mí, viendo a las personas que más amo luchar por sus vidas.

Los médicos y enfermeras hicieron todo lo que estaba a su alcance para ayudarlos, pero trágicamente, ninguno de ellos pudo recuperarse de sus dolencias. Perder a mis dos padres a la vez es algo para lo que nunca podría haberme preparado, emocional o financieramente.

Estoy recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir:

Facturas médicas de su atención final

Costos funerarios y de cremación para honrar su memoria

Gastos de lápida para crear un tributo duradero

Honorarios legales para resolver sus asuntos

Gastos de vida a medida que transito sus hogares y me adapto a esta nueva realidad

Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, ayudará a aliviar el peso de estos costos y me permitirá centrarme en lo que realmente importa: honrar su legado y encontrar mi camino hacia adelante.
