On Sunday October 23rd our family unexpectedly and tragically lost our beloved family member Carlos Cea. For 18 years Carlos was a dedicated member of our Canadian navy. He became a leader in the military community as a petty officer 1st class and spent over 1000 days at sea. More than that, Carlos was also a pillar in his family - A loving and dedicated family man. He was an amazing father who adored his 4 children. A loving husband, a brother, a son, a friend, a touchstone and confidant to many. Anyone who knew Carlos knew how compassionate and kind he was. He was the person who always took the time to see how you were doing and genuinely cared about your answer. He was the person who made everyone feel like family with his laid back attitude, infectious smile and laughter. We are looking to raise funds for Carlos’ family to support them with any financial needs in the time ahead while they navigate this difficult time. Carlos will be deeply missed by all he met and touched. On behalf of both the Cea and Ball family we thank everyone for all of the heartfelt condolences, support and contributions.
