Carlos and Pablo's Hope and Healing Fund

This fund is specifically to provide these two teenage brothers with HOPE and to keep on fighting for their recovery. They have been in ICU for nearly 3 months, trying to recover from COVID-19. They have had numerous setbacks and challenges and continue to face an uphill battle. Unfortunately, this long, painful process has begun to effect them emotionally as well. The hospital (Advocate Children's Hospital, Illinois) thinks the boys will eventually need many months of rehab once they even begin to recover.
This fund is meant to help keep the two boys fighting for their recoveries. It is meant to help provide something more for them to look forward to once they begin recovering, and something to continue fighting for. This fund is NOT meant for medical expenses, but for an opportunity for the boys to experience life's many BLESSINGS after this horribly difficult time of their lives. This is meant for them to be able to DREAM about things they have not done before, such as college opportunities, a family vacation, and even car expenses.
This is also to help provide a relief of some of the family's daily expenses during this difficult time. The parents have been driving between 1 and 1 1/2 hours each way to see the boys at the hospital EVERY day for over 10 weeks now. Housing, gas, and food are just an afterthought for the parents at this time as they are 100% focused on helping the two boys.
Carlos, 17, has dreams of going to college to study nursing or become a flight controller. This fund can help to make those dreams more tangible and give him strength to face his daily challenges which are unfortunately very painful.
Pablo, 15, has dreams of one day having his own car and possibly studying a trade. This fund can help him achieve those dreams and also give him more chance to overcome his current obstacles.
