Carlo Needs Us and We Need Him

Hi all, this fund is meant to assist in alleviating the costly burden of cancer treatment and all of the expenses associated for Carlo and Veronica Shields. Carlo has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer(so far found in his spine, ribs, sternum and both femurs) and needs us to rally around him to assist even though he himself would never ask for anything from anyone. So his family has taken the liberty of starting this campaign for him. If you know Carlo, there is a very high chance that he has assisted you in one way or another out of the goodness of his heart and at no expense to you (aside from maybe a cold one and some fun conversation) so we are pleading for any and all the help we can get in order to help our family get through all of this as smoothly as possible. Anything you can spare is more appreciated than any of you can ever imagine. He is and has always been our families rock, our foundation, and our strength in tough times and now it is our responsibility to return that favor in kind and do anything and everything we can to support him at this juncture in his life, so despite the fact that asking for charity is not something any of us are comfortable with, it is something we must do in order to have the ability to get him the best treatment possible and in order for his wife to be by his side as they fight together to buy him as much time as possible in order to see his grandchildren grow up and know the great man that Grandpa Carlo truly is.
