The 2022 Carlmont Boys Golf team has teed off the season with a strong start resulting in a record of 4-2. The team consists of 16 student-athletes who all have a passion for the game of golf and are motivated to improve. The team also consists of 3 of the best golf coaches in the Peninsula Athletic League, giving top-quality instruction. This year’s approach is to provide as much playing experience as possible on several golf courses in the area to earn a bid into the Central Coast Section tournament. Unfortunately, the budget provided to the team from the school limits us from continuing to gain on-course playing experience.

The price of a round of golf, or a bucket of balls, or the expense of a team polo shirt shouldn’t be a barrier for a young person who wants to play on a high school golf team – your generous donations will give these student-athletes the funds for uniforms, the access to play local golf courses and utilize local golf ranges, giving them opportunities to learn lessons that can be taught in a way only a golf course can.

Access to affordable golf relies on the support of people who know the power that golf can have in helping a young person unlock talents they didn’t think they had. It also teaches them life lessons of responsibilities and organization, discipline, patience, health benefits, etiquette, and sportsmanship. Your tax-deductible donation provides our student-athletes and our golf program with an even brighter future.
