Have you been following my journey? It’s a doozy! My poor Lady Marmalade is falling apart at the seams, literally, the welded seams. We had quite the adventure together, especially after the original frame welds started popping off and she caught fire! She’s going to be too expensive to try -TRY- to fix to make her safe for me and my furry family. As much as a new (new to me) camper would cost that is much more reliable and has a bathroom (WHAT!?). So, sadly, I have to let her go and find a new home. Who knew??? The frame!!! At least it wasn’t my handiwork, haha! We do need a new home ASAP! But I know now what to look for! After we get a new home to put our stuff and butts, I’ll sell my Lady for parts or as a major fixer upper. Some things we also need after our crazy tough yearsssss long journey, a new tire for my truck (I rubbed one trying to pull Lady Marmalade out of the ditch), a new topper (top flew off, remember that?! Haha! Then the key broke off in it), some tools for emergencies so we don’t go through this again, and an ice cream cone for all of us when it’s all said and done! I’ve been looking at small campers and the price I’ve found for a used one that is turn key is roughly 6-14k. I can’t even imagine a home with heat or a toilet and that doesn’t leak oh my!
